With multi-faceted programs in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, the PRIME II Project provided technical assistance in a region where many countries are in transition from heavily subsidized, vertically structured health care systems to new models centered on family medicine and primary-level services. In addition to its work in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, PRIME completed a competency-based learning package for primary providers in Uzbekistan.
